SKT Architects, P.C. has been in continuous practice in North Alabama for over fifty-five years. The firm is responsible for more than one billion dollars in design and construction in the United States and thirteen foreign countries. While offering clients the benefit of a half-century of experience, SKT has continuously evolved to meet the changing needs of its clients. Current repeat clients include Alabama A&M University, Huntsville City Schools, Madison County Schools, Sanmina- SCI Systems Inc., Eliza Coffee Health Group and U.N.A.

SKT Architects, P.C. maintains fully staffed offices in Huntsville and Florence, Alabama. The 23-member staff is comprised of eight registered architects, two intern architects, nine technicians, one graphic designer and four clerical personnel. Three principal architects lead the firm: J. Stanley Tomblin, Robert Van Peursem and Frank J. Nola.

The firm's construction documents are produced exclusively by Computer Aided Design and Data Base Specification writing systems. In addition to the production of construction documents, SKT offers a wide range of in-house graphic capabilities, including project web site design and the production of computer generated building fly-around and fly-through animations.

Recently SKT Architects expanded its offices into an early 20th century warehouse building located in downtown Huntsville. The state-of-the-art office facilities are skillfully integrated into the historic structure, reflecting SKT's philosophy of modern, efficient design that is respectful of the past.
