SKT Architects was established in 1948 and is the Tennessee Valley's oldest established architectural firm in continuing practice. We maintain complete offices in Florence and Huntsville, Alabama which serve the North Alabama, South Tennessee, North Georgia and North Mississippi areas.

Our numerous commissions in very diverse fields are testimony to our architectural capabilities. We have assisted clients in the design and construction of over $900 million worth of construction in the Tennessee Valley. Our reputation for providing the client with functional solutions is an aesthetically pleasing manner has encouraged many of our clients to be repeat customers. We take pride in our ability to meet the clients programmatic needs within the budget and time limitations provided.

Our firm has by choice maintained a moderate size. It is large enough to competently handle any project in its interest area, yet is small to ensure the direct personal involvement of a Principal in each and every specific design contribution in the course of each project.
